Guest Bath Makeover

Between a full work schedule, volunteer obligations, wedding planning, turning 30 and enjoying typical summer time festivities, it's been a busy summer. I just realized that I never shared an updated photo of our guest bath makeover.

We are no means finished with this, we still have tile to lay, a new light fixture to install and art to add, but it's a far cry from what we started with.

To refresh, it's the before-

And now, a few more 'In-Progress' photos-
The shower curtain is actually two regular curtain panels purchased at Z Gallerie on clearance. They match the wall color perfectly, which was a very lucky break. We used a clear shower liner and a 2-rod curved shower rod from Bed, Bath & Beyond to hang the curtains and provide some additional space in the tub/shower

The accessories are simply items I already had on hand. I will probably swap out the small photo frames, as soon as I find a more appropriate item to add.

The faucets are also new and from Home Depot. They were just $34 each! They are a huge improvement over the old school ones originally in here. Justin was able to swap the faucets out easily.

Even Charlie approves-

We've decided not to handle any larger house projects (i.e. tiling) until after the wedding, so this room will stay like this for a little awhile longer. We do have the tile picked out, and I am anxious to get started on that this Fall!

    2. Hi Ladies, I ended up ordering an extra long shower liner on Amazon. My local BB&B store didn't carry an extra-long liner in-store. Hope that helps!

  3. If bathroom fittings are not proper then they can cause a serious problem even to a beautiful looking house. Bathroom reflects the cleanliness of our house. So it is important to maintain them. If it will be dirty it will put negative impression on the visitors coming to our house and it is bad from hygiene point of view as well that is why when house is constructed proper concern should be given to these things related with plumbing. There are many plumbing supply companies nowadays. Recently i ordered plumbing products from http://www.southcoastsales.com/products
