Deal of The Day

A few years ago, I noticed that Michaels had a dollar section, similar to what Target has at the entrance of their stores. It's typically an aisle long and the stock of inexpensive goods changes frequently. I make it a habit to check it out anytime I'm there. I've picked up odds and ends like gift tags and recipe cards there in the past.

This week, I spotted these:
I know these napkin rings don't look like much wrapped in plastic and stuck in a bin, but I saw potential. I also thought that anything jute looks like summer to me, so I picked 10 up. They retail for $1/ea but as a Michaels Rewards member, I get 20% off all regular price purchases, so it brought them to $0.80. Perfect.

Here they are unwrapped and adorning my dining room table:

I love the braided design and texture and think they look much nicer than their discount price.

They had several different designs, but this one was my favorite. If you're interested hurry in, as their stock changes every few weeks.

Yes, they adorn my formal china and compliment the mason jar candle-holder. I love mixing formal and casual pieces on my table for a layered look.

Have you found any great deals recently? I'd love to hear about them.
xoxo, Suzanne
